Nothing is original.
Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak ...directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to."

Isochronous
What a good day this was. Good music = Isochronous, good food = avo and chips rolls, good company = Ruan en Wikus.

[dead] fly on the wall.
and then i had a thought. i thought i'd actually try blogging for real. like write words to go with the pictures and stuff. that's what a blog is for right? i'll see how it fits.
so this fly was squished on the side of the microwave. i instructed everyone to NOT clean it before i had photographed it. i shot it on my dad's F90X film camera, macro lens. i love the way it looks half dead and the other half is still trying to walk. i didn't kill him by the way. roadkill?
